BUYING

Can I buy items if I don't live in Cape Town?

At the moment FlipSell is only live in Cape Town and surrounding areas. Please let us know if you would like us to come to your home town.

What does it cost to buy something on FlipSell?

You pay the price of items as advertised. The only extra cost is shipping. This will be roughly R60 within regional areas.

At what point will my purchase be shipped to me?

As soon as your offer has been accepted and you have made the full payment our courier will be dispatched to collect the item.

How long will it take to receive my purchase?

We typically aim to deliver to you within 24hours of collecting your purchase from the seller.

Can I return something?

When your FlipChamp arrives at your location you have the opportunity to inspect the goods. If you are not 100% satisfied for any reason we will return the goods to the seller and refund you in full.

How are payments processed?

All payments are processed securely through our secure gateway.

Can I pay with SnapScan?

You sure can!

SELLING

Can I sell my stuff in areas other than Cape Town?

At the moment FlipSell is only live in Cape Town and surrounding areas. Please let us know if you would like us to come to your home town.

How much does it cost if someone buys my item?

We charge a 8% “FlipFee” on the value of your transaction.

What happens when someone has bought my item?

Once a buyer has paid the full price to FlipSell we will dispatch our courier to collect the item from you at your earliest convenience.

Are there any hidden cost?

The only fee we charge our sellers is the 8% “FlipFee” – no extra cost.

When do I get my money?

Once we have delivered the item to the buyer and the buyer is satisfied we will transfer the funds directly to your account.

RETURN POLICY

My purchases has arrived at my door and I am not satisfied, do I get my money back?

Once your purchase arrives at your door our FlipChamp will check it with you. If you are not completely satisfied we will return the item to the seller. This will not cost you anything. We will transfer your funds straight back to you.

I have sold my item but it has been returned to me, what does this cost me?

Our return policy is free for both parties. We will simply bring the item back to you at your convenience.

I have sold my item but it has been returned to me, can I try sell it again?

If you post honest ads we will allow you to resell the item on FlipSell.

SUPPORT

Who does the pick ups and deliveries?

Our dedicated FlipChamps will personally pick up and deliver all goods.

Are the goods checked when picked up?

Our FlipChamps will inspect the items with the sellers and make sure they are as advertised.

Are the goods checked when delivered?

Our FlipChamps will inspect the goods with the buyers and ensure complete satisfaction.

Who can I contact if I have any queries?

Each transaction is assigned a dedicated support member. They will ensure all questions are answered and assist in any way possible.
